1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the FOPCO Shamba 2 application ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including farmers, agrodealers, experts, and visitors using web, mobile, SMS, or USSD channels.

2. Description of Service

FOPCO Shamba 2 provides an integrated agricultural intelligence ecosystem including:

AI-powered agricultural advisory and climate risk assessment.
A multi-channel marketplace for farm inputs and fresh produce.
Interactive educational courses and a knowledge center.
Community forums and expert consultation tools.
Omnichannel communication via Web, SMS, WhatsApp, and USSD.

3. User Responsibilities & Conduct

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree not to:

Provide false or misleading identity or farm information.
Engage in any form of harassment within the community chat.
Use automated systems (bots) to scrape data or spam other users.
Bypass or attempt to bypass any security measures of the Platform.

4. AI Advisory Disclaimer

"AI-generated insights (including weather tasks, crop health diagnosis, soil analysis, and financial advice) are provided for informational and educational purposes only. While powered by advanced models (Google Gemini), these outputs are simulations. FOPCO and its partners are not liable for crop failure or financial loss resulting from reliance on AI suggestions. Farmers MUST verify critical decisions with local certified agronomists or government extension officers."

5. Marketplace & Transactions

The Platform facilitates connections between buyers and sellers.

Payments: All transactions are processed via secure third-party gateways (M-Pesa, Card). FOPCO does not store sensitive financial credentials.
Seller Verification: While FOPCO reviews Agrodealer profiles, we do not guarantee the performance of specific products or the quality of independent farmer produce.
Delivery: Fulfillment is the responsibility of the seller unless using a FOPCO-integrated logistics partner.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FOPCO Shamba 2 and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, crops, or revenue.
